The book I chose is called The Gold Threaded Dress by Carolyn Marsden. The scene I chose is when Oy, Liliandra, Kellie Marie, and Hejsky get send to the principal’s office. The main character is Oy, these happened because all the girls were teasing Oy. When Lilianra saw a picture of Oy in a beautiful dress she asked her if she could bring it to school or she wouldn’t be included in a secret club. The next day Oy brought the dress and the girls tried it on at the playground. When a teacher saw them he send them to the principal’s office. I think this book helps you remember that we are all the same and that there is no need to tease someone.
